Joseph C. Howlett Jr.

Joseph C. Howlett Jr. age 93 of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday September 28, 2021 with loving family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. Howlett Sr. and Gladys Howlett; son, Tommy Howlett; daughter, Nora Jean McCawley; brother, T. Howlett; sisters, Doris Dawson and Edith Sears. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a retiree of Solite after 28 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 72 years Betty (Shepherd) Howlett; sons, Joseph Howlett III, Rick Howlett (Vicki), Jerry Howlett (Patty), Eddie Howlett (Jenny); daughters, Patty Mulcahy (Kevin), Melanie Mitchell; brother, Bud Howlett (Helen); sisters, Mildred (Pokey) Bishop, Lucille Bishop; 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted Noon on Saturday October 2, 2021 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Hebron Cemetery.
