Lawrence Watkins

Watkins Sr., Lawrence E. "Pie" 75 of Brooks entered eternal life March 17, 2015 at his residence. He was a member of Gospel Chapel Church, and retired from the Local Union 181. He is preceded in death by his Daughter; Sarah Elizabeth Stasel, son; Thomas Rex Watkins, parents Russell and Bonnie Brown-Watkins, Brothers Pete, Jack, David, Rell, sisters; Bertha, Dorothy, and Rosie. Mr. Watkins leaves to cherish his memory wife, Glenda Bracy-Watkins, Children; Lawrence Watkins Jr. (Shirley), Rebecca Lee Watkins, Robert L. Watkins (Gina), James A. Watkins (Jeannie), Donald Watkins (Norma), Theresa J. Watkins, Lori L. Watkins-Tetreault, Mary S. Watkins-Lindsey(Noel), and Glenda S. Holder (Brian),sisters; Mary "Stinker" (Jerry), Clara (Ronnie), Lou Ella, Pauline, and brother Charles (Sandra), 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Service will be 1pm Saturday at Gospel Chapel Church with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 - 8pm Thursday, 10 -8pm Friday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home and after 9am at the Church on Saturday.
