He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Ed Brown Jr., Brenda Joan Brown, Deborah Carrier and Clayton Thomas Brown.
Speedy enjoyed time with his family and watching Kentucky Basketball.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Wanda Devine, William Robert Brown (Norma Jo), Karen Hobbs, Sheila Brown, Vickie Hilliard (Jim) and Jeanie Osborne; along with a host of nephews and nieces.
Funeral service will be at 5 pm Friday, July 14, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1 pm until the time of service at 5pm.
