She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Coy, and her brother, Edward Lingerfelt.
Norma enjoyed gardening, bird watching, going on cruises, camping, and especially time with her family. She will be sadly missed by so many who loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Cindy Jackson (Gary), Becky Hale (Shannon) and Todd Coy (Charity); her brother, Jimmy Lingerfelt (Judy); her grandchildren, Amanda, Chris, Lily, Luca and Mikayla; along with a host of other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be 2 pm until 5 pm Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Watson Venue 240 Raymond Road Shepherdsville. The Coy Family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with arrangements.
Norma had chosen to have her body donated to science research at the University of Louisville. She worked many years in the medical field and was passionate about helping others even after her death.
