Pamela Sue Simmons

   Pamela Sue Simmons, age 69 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 4, 2020 with loving family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dot Mattingly; husband, Walter “Buzz” Simmons Jr.; daughter, Tonya Donaldson and brother Tommy Mattingly. She was a supervisor at Astro Communications where she worked for 11 years.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Kayla Donaldson (Tim Clark), Wade Donaldson (Savanah Downs), Cheyanne, Nick and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Philip Clark, Bellamae Donaldson and Jaden Donaldson; son-in-law, James Donaldson, Jr. (Christy); special friend Becky Pallast and a host of other family and friends.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held conducted 11 am on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 11501 Maple Way with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville.
