Paul Wayne Burton Sr. age 61 of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on November 6, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waymon and Shirley Burton; brother, Ronnie Dale. He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife of 38 years, Shirley Burton; son, Paul Burton Jr. (Christy); daughter, Hope Burton; grandchildren, Noah, Aidan, Trenton, Heather, Kaden; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Burton enjoyed hunting, nature, and was a handyman that could fix just about anything. Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
