William "Billy" Ray White

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Marie and Linda Mae; along with a nephew, David Bakos. 

Billy was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed fishing at the lake, time with his family and was a master painter. Billy was a former employee at City Liquor and was an avid gambler. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Rita Hicks, Brenda Powers, Ronnie White (Pam), Ricky White (Lillian) and Phillip White (Debbie); his nephews, Ricky White Jr. (Mandy) and Dustin White (Chelsey); his nieces, Whitney White, Donita Cooper, Melinda, Bruner, Shelia Miller and Julie Gaddis (Rob); along with a host of nieces, nephews and his dogs, Lucy and Lucky.

Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, August 9, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Mount Eden Cemetery. Visitations will be Thursday 2 pm until 8 pm and on Friday 9 am until the time of service at 11 am.
