William Robert Collins, age 80 of Taylorsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 4, 2021. He was a retired Kentucky Master Logger. He was one of a kind; if you were looking for a sweet, soft, easy-speaking man, he wasn’t your guy but he was a “life advice tell you like it is rough around the edges” man. He is wearing his overalls and drinking sweet tea in Heaven now. He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Angel; parents, William and Myrtle (Thornton) Collins; 3 sisters and his second mom, Kathleen Collins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Robin Graham (Al); son, Daniel Collins; grandchildren, Laynee (Crickett), Jessica (Jeka) and Ashley (Ashes); great-grandchildren; Alexis (Critter), Landon (Hoss), Westin (Shine) and Kendrick on the way; brothers, Bob Collins, Hughie Collins and a host of other family and friends.
Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville in charge of arrangements where the family chose cremation.
