Ala Eugene Blankenship

Among those who preceded him in death are, his beloved wife, Virginia “Sissy” Nell Hunt Blankenship; daughter, Tammy Black; parents, William and Minta Blankenship and brothers, Tom, Jimmy, and Harold Blankenship.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Cathy Henon and Timothy Blankenship (Catherine); 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold Blankenship (Charlene) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, December 28 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at noon at the funeral home.
