Anthony "Tony" William Schaefer

Mr. Anthony William Schaefer, age 72, of Louisville passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020. Anthony was born on September 30, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Anthony and Helen (White) Schaefer. Mr. Schaefer was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from LG & E after more than 30 years of service as a computer programmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of almost 43 years, Beverly (Gibson) Schaefer; children, Theresa (Wayne) Maddix; Michelle (Lee) Monchamp, Yvonne (Todd) Harrison; and Chris (James) Schaefer; grandchildren, Kayla (Brent) Walker, Christen (Cody) Simmons, Zachary (Sade’) Hardy, Vanessa, Alaina, Anna; great-grandchildren, Jaslyn, Zoey, CJ, and Caydance; brother, Warren (Vicki) Schaefer; sister-in-law, Betty Mathewson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to COVID-19, the family has decided to not have services at this time. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
