Barbara Fern Laslie Howard

Mrs. Barbara Fern Laslie Howard, age 72, of Okolona returned to her Heavenly Father on January 1, 2017. Mrs. Howard retired from General Electric and was a member of Okolona Separate Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Ava and Essie Laslie; and 8 siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 56 years, Eugene Howard; sons, Robert Howard (Julie) and Scott Howard (Diane); grandchildren, Stephani (Hunter), Lindsey, Meredith, Jordanne and Jasmine; great-grandson, Hayden; sister, Ann Clark; and brother, J.C. Laslie (Mary).

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am EST on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Fairview Cemetery in Breckinridge County, KY at 12:30 EST.
