Betty Jo Goldman

Mrs. Betty Jo Goldman, age 86, of Fairdale returned to her Heavenly Father on February 25, 2021. Mrs. Goldman was born on March 25, 1934 in Vivian, Louisiana to the late David and Bessie (Stark) Fulgium. Mrs. Goldman was an LOA with Jefferson County Public Schools for 17 years and a member of Louisville Baptist Temple for 40 years. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, husband, Howard Lee Goldman, Sr.; son, George Edward “Eddy” Goldman; and 8 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Howard “Bucky” Goldman II (Paula) and Donna Steinmetz (Keith); 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1-8 pm and Tuesday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
