Betty Ray Guenthner

Betty Ray Guenthner, age 77, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 1, 2021.  Betty was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 15, 1943, to the late Walter Gray and Mildred Foster Gray. She was retired from Phillip Morris cigarette manufacturing. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred (Foster) Gray; sister, Brenda Gatton. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Cathy Ferrill and Jeff Guenthner; grandchildren, Gary Evans (Eva), Nick Evans (Abbey), Michael Durbin, Tess and Hannah Coots; five great grandchildren, Gary, Jaylen, Lillian, Gracie, Jace, Zachary, Kamry and Addison; sisters, Georgie Akinson and Barbara Gatton; and family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Sunday, August 15, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow.
