Bobby Joe Wright

Mr. Bobby Joe Wright age 78, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was born on March 19, 1943 in Greensburg, Kentucky. He was a Jehovah’s Witness by faith. He contributed to the Dare to Care and Kosair’s Shriners Club. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and could fix anything. He was preceded by his loving wife, Marilyn Wright; his daughter, Patsy Ann Rose Wright; his parents, James Henry Wright and Sara Frances Wright; his siblings, Lavern Risen, Tommy Wright, Gene Wright and Charles Wright; his stepchildren, Robin Alvey, Lisa Smith and Darrell Alvey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Tammy Wright (Jason); his stepson, Bobby Alvey; his siblings, James Melvin Wright (Annis Wayne); his grandchildren, Dillion Warren, Brittany Warren and Cindy Jo Lewis; along with several great grandchildren, step grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 10am until time of service.
