Carrie Lee Lindsey

Carrie Lee Lindsey, age 80, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.  Carrie was born in Columbia, Kentucky on July 26, 1940, to the late Charlie and Mattie Floyd. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Gene Lindsey and James Cooley ; her parents; brothers, James Floyd, Charles Floyd and Alvis Floyd; two sisters, Thelma Wells and Nellie Corbin; step son, Ernie Lindsey; grandchild, Candice Fickey.. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Lee Carol Fickey (Richard) and Carlton Lindsey; grandchild,  Amber Horlander (Shaun); a daughter-in-law, Peggy Lindsey; three great grand children Rhys Horlander, Shaun Horlander Jr. and Haley Horlander; four step children, Mike Lindsey, Gary Lindsey, Debbie Roarx and Michelle Lindsey; several step grand children and step great grand children; and a host of nieces and nephews and a host of friends survive. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment on Monday, June 28, 2021 in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Friday from 2 pm until 8 pm on Saturday from 10 am time of service at the funeral home.
