Charles "Charlie" Clifton Marcell

Mr. Charles “Charlie” Clifton Marcell, age 73, of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Charles was a pharmacist for 48 years, a member of the Masonic Lodge #511 Valley Daylight, he was a patriot and spiritual individual. He loved the Kentucky Wildcats football and basketball, he enjoyed listening to music by the Eagles and Wings, but most of all he loved his family and the title “Pawpaw”. Charles was born May 22, 1949, in Louisville, KY to the late Clifton Thomas Marcell, and Texie Dove (Merideth) Marcell. Charles will live on in his family’s hearts and memories forever.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Sarah Marcell, two sons, Michael Marcell (Kimberly) and Chris Marcell (Katie); four grandchildren, Kinsley and Kayla Marcell, and Jameson and Landon Marcell; the mother of his children and his dear friend Carolyn (Carrie) Marcell; one sister, Janey Brooks-Baird. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway) at John Harper Hwy.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday July 17, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at (Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home) 4895 N. Preston Hwy, and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00p.m. With burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
