Charles Wayne Cooper

Mr. Charles Wayne Cooper, age 81, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 2, 2015 surrounded by his family. Mr. Cooper served as a missionary in the Caribbean, Indian Reservations, and several other missionary fields. He served in the United States Marine Corps, held various management positions and was the former owner of Citizens Adjustment Bureau.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Troy L. and Elizabeth Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 55 years, Verna Mathys Cooper; brother, Harold C. Cooper and his nieces, nephews and many friends.

His Celebration of life will be conducted at 1:30 on Monday, October 5, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and from 11:00 am until the time of service at Schoppennhorst.
