Charlotte Mae Whitworth

Ms. Whitworth was born October 8, 1940 in Louisville. She was a lifelong homemaker, a foster parent and did various volunteer work.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her sons, Robert and Michael Burkhead; parents, Paul Vincent Sr. and Nancy Pauline Jeffries Conway and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Steve Burkhead (Sherry), Gary Burkhead (Marcella), Kimberly Downs (Don), Karen Gaffney (David), Sherrie Shafer (Danny), Josh Breeding and Brooke Breeding; 21 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Leon Conway; sisters, Linda Bufford and Nancy Devine; former husband, Dennis Whitworth and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
