Christine Carol Wilson

Mrs. Christine Carol Wilson, age 66, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Mrs. Wilson was born in Louisville, KY on June 5, 1953 to the late Robert and Patricia “Swann” Carter. Mrs. Wilson was known as “Gamma” to her grandchildren, she was full of life and loved crafts. She loved spending time with friends, family, watching her grandchildren, and spoiling them. She never missed a chance to see her grandsons play ball. She was always their biggest fan. Among those who preceded her in death are her parents; father and mother in laws, Verlis and Rose Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 48 years, Marion Wilson; children, Jason Wilson and Beth White (Mike); grandchildren, Jace, Josh, Kynslee, Nolan, Easton, and Rylee; 6 brothers, Bobby, Johnny, Raymond, Kevin, Ricky and Jerry; sister, Judy; and a host of other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 22, 2019 in the chapel of St. Rita Catholic Church (8709 Preston Hwy, Louisville KY 40219) with interment at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 North Preston Hwy. at brooks road) on Friday from 1pm until 8pm and on Saturday from 9am until 10am. Expressions of Sympathy can be made to the “Make A Wish Foundation” and/or the “Juvenile Diabetes Foundation”.
