Clifton "Clif" Dean Jones

Clifton Dean “Clif” Jones, age 59 of Mt. Washington, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 5, 2024, with loving family by his side. He was born on December 10, 1964, to Edgar and Janrose Jones. Clif was a man of few words, but was sincere in the words he did speak. He was a great dad and husband. He loved hockey, especially watching his favorite team, the Nashville Predators.  He loved children and spending time outdoors hiking, camping and canoeing but his true passion was his daughter, Julia, and his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Jones and brother-in-law, Darrell Shirley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 23 years, Karen (Mulloy) Jones; daughter, Julia Jones; mother, Janrose Jones; sister, Darlene Shirley; brothers, Duane Jones (Susan) and Mike Jones (Lori) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
