Craig Steven Bailey

Mr. Craig Steven Bailey, age 59, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on August 31, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 25, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky to Esther (Watson) Bailey and the late Bennie Bailey, Jr. Mr. Bailey is preceded in death by his father; his wife, Mary Rachel Bailey; his sister, Deborah Ann Bailey; and his stepdaughter, April Maye Wood. Mr. Bailey had a passion for airplanes and loved animals. He never met a stranger and known as a good Christian man with a very kind heart.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Esther (Watson) Bailey; brothers, Bennie Joel Bailey and Gregory Scott Bailey (Rita); sisters, Gwendolyn Diane Bailey and Dawna Gail Bailey(Doug Spillman); son, Tyler Steven Beeber; stepdaughter, Heather Nicole Neal; step grandchildren, Haylee McCoy and Delsyn VanWinkle; nieces, Samantha Jo Bailey, Sarah Jane LeMaster(Perry) Olivia Constance Bailey;1 great niece Amelia Joel LeMaster; nephews, Paul Brian Beck, Benjamin Gregory Bailey, Asher William Bailey, Silas Joshua Bailey. Along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 12 Noon until 8:00pm and again on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00.
