Danny Ray Turner

Mr. Danny Ray Turner, age 74, of Mt. Washington, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, October 4, 2021. Mr. Turner was born in Corbin, KY on March 4, 1947. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from General Electric after 35 years of service. Mr. Turner was a lifetime member of the IUE-CWA Local 83761.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil “Buck” and Mary Ann Turner and his wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Flood Turner.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Jason Turner (Jennifer); grandchildren, JT, Dylan and Lauren Turner; brother, David Turner; sister-in-law, Anna Kaiser; brother-in-law, Marshall Flood; former daughters-in-law, Kimberly Gray and Anita Turner.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 E. at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
