

David Keith Livers “Peepaw”, age 82 of Taylorsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2024 in his home surrounded by loved ones after a valiant battle with Pancreatic cancer. He was born on November 1, 1941, in Louisville, KY to Albert Livers and Sallye (Higdon) Livers. He was a proud United States Navy veteran and retiree of General Electric where he worked for 32 years.
In addition to his parents Albert and Sallye Livers, Keith is also preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Lynn Livers, brother Wilbur Livers (Rose), sister-in-law Debbie Badgett, and brother-in-law Bill Forrester.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Livers. His granddaughters, Blake Christine Chitwood (Dyllin) and Bailey Lynn Chitwood. Great granddaughters, Kinley Lynn Wilson and Jaeda Lynn Shepherd. His sisters, Sally Boness and Judy Forrester (Bill), sister-in-laws Kathy Hardin (Steve) and Michelle Zito (Matt). And a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
In his lifetime, Keith most enjoyed taking road trips out west, working outdoors, practicing photography, spending time with his family, drinking beer at New View Bar, and watching the Kentucky Wildcats play. Also known as Peepaw, or Uncle Keith, Keith was a gentle, humorous, and kind man who loved life. He was a devoted husband, and the epitome of a great grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, laughter, and love for his family, a legacy that will be cherished and remembered by all who loved him.
Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 3pm in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Drive in Mt. Washington) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 2pm until 8pm, and Tuesday, February 13,2024 from 10am until the time of service at 3pm.
