Diane Kay Wright

Mrs. Diane Kay Wright, age 76, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.   Mrs. Wright was born in Louisville on December 24, 1943 to the late Marshall and Loretta Dumeyer. Mrs. Wright was a 1961 graduate of Our Lady of Mercy Academy. She was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and did volunteer work for St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; and brothers, Marshall, Jr. and Donnie Dumeyer.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, John Wright; children, Charles Hicks (Patty), Loretta Hicks (Dave), Lisa Mio (Rick), Julie Gable (Clark), Laurie Decker and Shannon Logsdon (Bobby); 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Delores Barth and Dorothy Smith; and 6 grand dogs.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 24, 2020 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church (5915 Outer Loop) with private entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2 pm until 8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Expressions of sympathy may be made St. Vincent DePaul Society- St. Athanasius Chapter.
