Douglas A. Anderson

Mr. Douglas A. Anderson, age 69, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Mr. Anderson was born in Louisville on January 3, 1947 to the late Willard and Wanda Anderson. Doug Anderson was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his wife, Inez A. Anderson and his sister, Marilyn Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Dana Lynn Jones and Steven Douglas Anderson; grandchildren, Aaron Jones, Ian and Cody Anderson and Astasia Jones; great grandchild, Elijah; siblings, Elizabeth A. Lackey (Ernest), Marcus Anderson (Mendy) and David Anderson (Bonnie) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, October 24, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
