Earl L. Cox

Our loving father, Mr. Earl L. Cox, age 82, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on October 24, 2016. Mr. Cox was owner of Earl's Body Shop and attended Hillview Community Christian Church. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Laddie and Janie Tucker Cox; siblings, Clifford, Thomas, Odele, Hazel and Thelma and by his beloved in-laws, Mary and Gaston Rolen. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 62 years, Helen Christine Rolen Cox; daughters, Debbie Westerman (Bob), Sharon McKenzie (Steve) and Tami Richardson; grandchildren, Shannon McKenzie (Jonnah), Michael Weddington (Marnita), Kelly LeCompte (William) and Cody Richardson (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Chase, Chance, Trevor, Bailey, Ethan and McKenzie; and siblings, Hershel Cox (Patricia), Gerald Cox (Donna), John Cox (Helen), Louis Cox, Laddie Cox (Carol), Nima Jean Secrest, Lois Allen, Wanda Jupin (Elden), Loretta Walker, Josie Tolle (Kenny), Shirley Smith (Kenny), Betty Robbins and Juanita Robey (Delbert).

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4-8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until time of the service at noon at the funeral home.
