Eric R. Byrd

Mr. Eric R. Byrd, age 36, of Bardstown, KY passed away unexpectedly from a stroke on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Eric was born in Louisville, KY on March 17, 1986, to Charles Michael Byrd and Debra Lynn (Jones) Byrd. Eric enjoyed playing football, fishing with his family and friends, hunting, the outdoors, and truly loved his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his grandparents, his brother Brenton T. Byrd preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Charlie, and Debra Byrd; his brother Gregory Byrd (Kelly), his sister, Erin M. Daugherty, his nieces, Demi Marie Daugherty, bonus niece Madison Mosvold, and three nephews, Trent Daugherty, Dalton Daugherty, and Evan James Byrd; along with a host of other dear family and friends.

 Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Hwy).  Family and Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday afternoon, August 9, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
