Eugene Jesse Allen

Eugene Jesse Allen, age 88, of Vine Grove, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.  Eugene was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 7, 1933, to the late William and Belle Allen. He was an army veteran and a receiver of a purple heart.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Allen and a son, Jeff Allen. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Carla S. Gonzalez (Ernie) her children, Kyle, Dakota and Cheyanne; grandson Phillip Allen (Jennifer) his son Parker Allen; several other grandchildren and great grandchildren; friend, Denise Fowler and family; and a host of friends survive. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, December 13, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Monday from 10 am until   time of service at the funeral home.
