Gary Ray Myers

Mr. Gary Ray Myers, age 69, of Shepherdsville, Ky passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025, with his family by his side. Gary was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 4, 1955, to the late Bobby Ray Myers and Norma Gay Myers. He worked in sales for 35 years. He was the GOAT of sales. He retired from Sunrise RV, was a master mechanic, there was nothing he couldn’t fix including a 1914 Ford Model T. Gary was funny, outspoken, generous, quick witted, a die-hard University of Kentucky and Trump fan and supporter. It was said that he never met a stranger, he also was a talented musician playing the guitar, piano, and drums. However, most of all Gary loved his family and God first and foremost. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Debbie Myers, his daughter Deanna Jenkins (Phil), son Matt Myers (Annie), 7 grandchildren Whitney Altman (Sam), Lexi Luttrell, Austin Jenkins, Jacob Luttrell, Kyle Myers, Nolan Myers, Lori Myers, 2 great-grandchildren Grayson and Hudson Altman, brother Tim Myers (Janet), sister Judy Myers (Steve), along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation to follow.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phil, Sam, Austin, Jacob, Kyle, Nolan.
