Gerald C. Weber

Gerald C. Weber age 91 of Lynnview passed away Monday March 14, 2016. He was a proud World War II Army veteran who wrote a book about his experiences, charter member of Okolona Christian Church, member of the Louisville Photographic Society. He retired from Naval Ordnance. He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Gladys (Weedman) Weber; children, Anyce (Clarence) Day, Charlene (Garnett) Grant, Jennifer (Avery) Hancock, Doug (Melanie) Weber, Brenda (Jim) Russo, Lelia (Ralph Scott) Herp; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Watseka Hanna, Wenonah Barringer, and Yvonne Goh.

Funeral service is Monday, March 21, 2016 11:00am with graveside service at 2:00pm at the Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff KY 40160. Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd).Expressions of sympathy may be made to Okolona Christian Church, 10801 Faithful Way, Louisville, KY 40229.
