Glenn Edward Compton

Glenn Edward Compton, age 24 of Shepherdsville, Ky, passed away on November 9, 2021. Glenn was born in Louisville, KY on December 23, 1996, to Charles Allen Compton and Beverly Ann “Hogan” Compton. He was a Bullitt East High School graduate, Class of 2015, a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Shepherdsville, KY. He loved the outdoors, rock climbing, camping, and his two pet dogs Daisy and Chief, but most of all he loved his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Charles H. Compton, his grandmother Rose Carolyn Compton- Schmeltz; and his maternal grandparents Murrell and Beverly Hogan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Chuck and Bev Compton; his brother Andrew Compton; Grandfather Norman Schmeltz; and his two pet dogs Daisy and Chief, his bonus grandparents Frances “MeMe” and Willie Minton; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1pm until 4pm and again Monday at 10:00 am until the time of service.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
