Grace Hazel Thurman age 78 was born November 7, 1935 to the late Willard and Lora Katherine Thurman and returned to her Heavenly Father December 17, 2013. Miss Thurman was a retired inspector for General Electric and a member of Highland Park 1st Baptist Church.
Among those who preceded her in death include her brother, William Ernest Thurman and her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving brother, Franklin Thurman; sister, Nancy Roberson; nephews, Robert, Kenneth and Christopher Thurman; a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 12 P.M. until 6 P.M. Saturday at Schoppenhorst.
