Harry Douglas Bratcher Jr.

Harry Douglas Bratcher Jr., age 54, of Ekron, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 22, 1971, to Virginia Bratcher and the late Harry Bratcher Sr. Harry was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.  His family was the center of his universe. He worked in production for Dawn Food Products. He radiated happiness, kindness, and compassion, touching the lives of everyone around him. He was a true lover of books and found joy in the simple things in life. In his free time, Harry enjoyed watching college sports, building/ fixing things, and taking family trips. He brought light, laughter, and warmth to every moment. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Harry was preceded in death by his dad, Harry Bratcher Sr., nieces, Summer Ann Bratcher and Grace Elizabeth Bratcher. 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife; April Timmons; daughter, Katelyn Bratcher; son, Sean Bratcher; son, Eric Bratcher; mom, Virginia Bratcher; siblings, Kevin Bratcher (Charlotte) and Jason Bratcher (Lisa); nephews, Kevy Bratcher and Nate Bratcher; along with many other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). The visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation has been chosen.  www.subfuneralhome.com
