Harvey Charles Allen

Mr. Harvey Charles Allen, 76, of Hillview, returned to his Heavenly Father Friday, May 25, 2018. He was born on July 10, 1941 in Shively, Kentucky. He was an Army veteran and retired from the water resource division of the USGS, member of Masonic Lodge 586 F&AM and Scottish Rite of Bullitt Co. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Mary Allen Casey;son, Charles Kevin (Chop) Allen; sister, Donna Jackson; and brother, Dennis Allen.

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Mildred Ann Allen; daughter, Sherryl Allen Duellman (Mark); sisters, Kathy Raiser and Yvonne Brock; four grandchildren, Amanda Napper (Steve), Jessica Brooks (David), Sarah Penrose and Matthew Penrose; four great grandchildren, Roman, Marley, Hudson and Lucy.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Faith Praise and Worship Center 160 Zoneton Road, Shepherdsville, Ky. with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.   Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 12 pm until 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home  (Preston Hwy and Brooks Rd.) and on Wednesday from 10am until the time of the service at the church.
