Helen Moore

Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Geneva Alber and Margery McCordy, and her brother, Milton Harris.

Helen was a loving mother to Daryl (Kathy), Darlene, and Ginger (Jerry). She was also a doting grandmother to Shannon (Brandon), Allen (Annie), Cara (Graham), Darren (Brittany), Jacob (Camryn), Mark (Clara), Tashawna (Eric), Brad (Shay), as well as her 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; brother, Vernon “Winston” Harris and companion, Troy Scruggs.

Helen was known for always putting others’ needs before her own. She was an exceptional Mother and Nanny. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed going on road-trips, browsing antique stores, and making memories with her loved ones.

Helen retired from Kroger after over 37 years of service. Her dedication and hard work were greatly appreciated by her colleagues and customers alike.

Helen will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and selflessness will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

The celebration of her life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 11:30am on Thursday, May 11, 2023, with a burial at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 4:00 pm –8:00pm and Thursday from 9:00am until the time of service.
