Henry Bruce Brown

Mr. Henry Bruce Brown, age 83, of Louisville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on July 13, 2022. He was born in Louisville, KY on September 18, 1938, to the late Forrest Brown and Eva Mae (Grant) Brown.  Henry retired from his first job with 25 years of service with Gamble Brothers as a wood worker and then he retired a second time with 25 years of service with Andriot-Davidson’s Service Company as a mechanic and maintenance worker. He was a member of Okolona Christian Church, and a member of the Lions Club. Henry enjoyed mowing his lawn, building dog houses, and utility trailers, camping and sitting on his front porch.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and five siblings, Mary, Ann, Earline, Betty, Jean.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 63 years Alma “Jeanie” Brown; his two children, Kathy McDonald (Ken), Lisa Glover (Rocky Webb); his three siblings Gail, Bob (Brenda), and Kenny; two grandchildren, Megan Hook (Jimmy), and Brittany Glover (Alison); two great-grandchildren, James Hook, and Emersyn Glover. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday July 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 12 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Private burial was chosen at Hebron Cemetery.
