Henry Robert French, Jr.

Mr. Henry Robert French, Jr., age 63, of Mt. Washington, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.  He was born on May 13, 1957 in Louisville, KY. Mr. French was a bricklayer by trade. He helped his father with the family business French’s Masonry. Mr. French started carrying bricks at the young age of five. He continued working as a bricklayer alongside his brother eventually growing the business independently.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry R. French, Sr. and Hilda A. Hiemer French and wife, Darlane French. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Tiffany Dilley (Ron) and JoAnna Reneau; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Cannon (Billy), Rosemary Wafford (Stan), J. Michael French (Pauline) and Romanie Ritchie (Ron) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020 at St. Francis Xavier Church with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.)                                       

Floral arrangements will be accepted at the funeral home and memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of your choice.

In compliance with Governor Andy Beshear’s latest Covid-19 restrictions, all service times must be kept private and each service is limited to immediate family and invited guests only, for a total of 25 people.

This MANDATE ends on Sunday, December 13, 2020.
