Herbert Leslie Adams

Mr. Herbert Leslie Adams, age 85, of Valley Station returned to his Heavenly Father on January 11, 2022. Mr. Adams was born on July 10, 1936, in Painesville, Ohio to the late Herbert Norman and Oma (Kemp) Adams. Mr. Adams retired from General Electric and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a Christian by faith and a mason with Fern Creek Masonic Lodge #955 F. & A.M. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, son, Wayne “Fella” Adams; grandson, Robert Dale Reynolds; and son-in-law, Robert Lee Reynolds.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sonja Adams; daughters, Tammy Reynolds, Gayla Jessie, Leslie Thompson, and Tonya Lewis; grandchildren, Jesse, Lewis, Shelley, Tyler, Dystany, Jeremie, Jr., Carlos, Jr., Savannah, Hannah, Elliot, Colin, and Jaden; 11 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Christy Adams.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
