James H. Corley

Mr. James H. Corley, age 76, of the East End returned to his Heavenly Father on August 16, 2017 with his family by his side. Mr. Corley was a retired painter from Baptist Hospital East and a member of Trinity Assembly of God. James loved the Lord, his family and his church with all his heart. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Ben T. Corley and Anna Jeanette Stulz Corley; wife, Jeanetta Coogle Corley; granddaughter, Amanda Corley; and brother, Charles "Bud" Corley (Betty). He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sharon Allen, Doris Kessler (Dan), Sandy Russell (Richard) and Tim Corley (Rhonda); 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Corley (Beverly), Ben F. Corley (Belva) and Tom Corley (Lee); and sister, Shirley McIntyre.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Monday, August 21, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
