James Robert Dobbs

Mr. Dobbs was born Monday, August 15, 1960 in Jefferson County. He is a United States Navy Veteran, a truck driver for Pegasus and a volunteer for the Lakota Charity Drive where he was assigned the name "Crazy Horse".

Among those who preceded him in death include, two brothers, Donnie and David Dobbs.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kristi Dawn Dobbs (Jordan), stepson, Christopher Wayne Vittitow and their mother, Deborah V. Dobbs; daughter, Amanda Munks and her mother, Sharon Glover; mother, Helen Jean Dobbs; father, Marion Robert Dobbs(Rosetta); siblings, Jean Lucas, Greg Dobbs (Donna), Doug Dobbs (Michelle), Joe Dobbs (Cathy), Amanda Newbold (Adam) and his Native sister, Rayetta "Redhawk" Smith; two grandchildren; fourteen nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
