James "Jim" Edward Barrow

    Mr. James “Jim” Edward Barrow, age 67, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Jim was born on Tuesday, August 24, 1954, to the late James and Martha Barrow. He was a Catholic by faith. He had previously worked 20 years with American-Standard and retired from Toyota after 22 years. Jim enjoyed cars, car shows, horse racing and a good batch of Woodford. You could find him at Captains Quarters on Sunday afternoons with Tom and Mike.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Melissa Mattingly (Darren) and James Scott Barrow (Kim); his grandchildren, Zachary, Kaleb, Tyler, Keira and Averi; along with a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted at 6 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road).  Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 1 pm until the time of service at 6 pm. Cremation will follow.
