James "Jim" Clifford White

Mr. James “Jim” Clifford White, age 78, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 4, 2024.  He was born on July 28, 1945, in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Clifford Henderson White and Anna Margaret “Margie” Sparks Eddington.

He was a member at the First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville and was a business owner and entrepreneur.  He owned White Lightning Food Stores, USA Portable Buildings, Amish Made Cabins and Americas Buildings.

Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Worley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pamela Combs White; daughters, Dori McCalvin (Mike) and Terri Twigg; sons, Christopher Courtney White (Jenny) and Brian Clifford White; grandchildren, Kristin Aubrey, Justin Shelton, Zachery Goldsmith, Megan Caudill, Kayden White, Mason White, Carter White and Christopher White, Jr; seven great grandchildren; aunt, Juanita Sparks; best childhood friend, Gary Massey; three grand fur babies, Gus, Zorro and Hank; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Thursday, April 11, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment to follow in the Hebron Cemetery.  Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 1-8 pm and on Thursday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
