Jerry Agee

Mr. Agee was a United States Marine veteran and retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his mother and step father, Jane and George Phelps; father, Melvin Agee; step son, Michael Duke and siblings, Shirley Patterson, Bobbie Jennings and Melvin Agee.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Carol Agee; sons, Jeff Agee, Brad Agee (Rhonda) and Barret Agee (Crystal); daughter, Melvina Evans (Steve); step daughter, Shannon Duke; grandchildren, Cameron, Rachel, Briana, Leah, Lindsey, Danielle, Garrett, Lauren, Alisha and Adrian; great grandchildren, Mason, Parker, Shawn, Brentley, Jacob and Aubree; sister, Anna Smith (Rodney) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Monday at Schoppenhorst.
