Jerry Hall

   Jerry Hall, age 82 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was born on September 30, 1941, in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Waymon and Lura May Hall. Jerry retired from Jefferson County Police Department as a Homicide Detective after faithfully serving for 22 years. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church. He enjoyed riding through his neighborhood, visiting and getting to know his neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Hall, and brothers, Ancil and James Hall.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 65 years, Linda (Bushart) Hall; daughter, Laura Heun (Rick); grandchildren, Alyssa Jeffries (Justin), Jessie Curry (Kristen), Kristen Morton (Kenny), Jeffrey Hall (Jayme), Michael Hall (Kelsey) and Andrea Gregory (Nate); 9 great-grandchildren; fur-babies, Archie and Finley and a host of family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2 pm in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 12 pm until time of service at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
