Jetta Jean Ellis, 76, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned home to our eternal father on March 24, 2026. She was born October 30, 1949, to the late William and Lucille Dennison. Jetta enjoyed playing bingo, going yard hopping, sewing, and spending time at the casino with her son.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia “Patty” Underwood, and her brother, Steve Johnson. She also is survived by her sons, William “Billy” (Julie), Robert “Bobby” (Colleen), and Samuel “Sam” (Selena); four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Betty Oglesby; and her brothers, Philip Cross and Teddy Hunley.
The family would like to thank Green Meadows of MT. Washington in honoring Jetta with love, care, and dignity.
A celebration honoring Jetta's life will be held at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N Preston Highway Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165 on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 5pm to 8pm.
