John William Casey

John William Casey Jr. age 74 of Mammoth Cave, KY. was born October 25, 1938 to the late John W. Sr. and Geneva M. Hamilton Casey in Louisville, Ky. and returned to his Heavenly Father February 10, 2013. Mr. Casey was a retired park ranger for the National Park Service and was an employee for Ralston Purina for 19 years. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; first wife, Peggy Ann Vogel Casey and a granddaughter, Diana Casey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Gloria Amin Casey; daughters, Linda Bramham (Tod) and Robyn Louise Cottier (Rob); sons, John Eric (Gina) and James Stephen (Angel)Casey; step sons, Donnie, Kevin (Jane) and Troy Best; sister, Barbara Smith; brothers, Don and Ronnie Casey; fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Friends may pay their respects from 10 A.M. until 2P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to his family.
