John Walter Wiederkehr, Jr.

Mr. John Walter Wiederkehr, Jr., age 78, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on November 1, 2024. Mr. Wiederkehr was born on October 8, 1946, in Bronx, New York to the late John W., Sr. and Mary (Hughes) Wiederkehr. He was a driver for TARC and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and a Deputy Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus St. John XXIII, Council 5634. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Linda (Hillebrand) Wiederkehr, son, Tim Wiederkehr; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at St. Rita Catholic Church (8709 Preston Highway Louisville, KY 40219) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 1-8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road).
