Joseph Bernard Clark

Mr. Joseph Bernard Clark, age 83, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 06, 2025. Mr. Clark was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 02, 1942, to the late John William Clark and Lillian Marie Clark “Henne”. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, and brother. His family was the center of his universe. He radiated happiness, kindness, and compassion, touching the lives of everyone around him. Joseph lived a life anchored in love, laughter, and the quiet joy of casting a line into calm waters. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 62 years, Loretta Janet Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Lisa Cooper and Joseph Clark Jr. (Kathy); grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle (Matt), Jamie (Wes), Amanda (Adam), Morgan, Evan, and Christian; great-grandchildren, Chase, Aubrey, Lily, Addison, Colton, Matthew, Mary Jane, Willow, Shane, Damien “DJ”, Austin, John, Whittani, Kyleigh, Kynzi, Caitlynn, and Paisley; brothers, John Earl Clark (Carol) and Thomas William Clark (Julie); along with many other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). The visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.  www.subfuneralhome.com
