Joseph A. Downs, Sr.

Mr. Joseph A. Downs, Sr., age 82, of Lebanon Junction returned to his Heavenly Father on November 6, 2017. Mr. Downs retired from Nibco Piping System where he worked in maintenance. Mr. Downs was a mason with McNeil Lodge #586. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Jessie and Teresa Downs; wife, Charlotte Jane Dunn Downs; sister, Patsy Morris; and brother, Larry Downs. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Joseph A. Downs, Jr. (Dina) and Blenda Lee (Jamie); grandchildren, Dylan Downs, Drew Downs, Nicki Sinnett (Chad) and Jay Lee (Rebekah); great-grandchildren, Keagan, Kasey Jo, Jake and Adi; and sisters, Shirley Thompson (Bud), Carolyn Emerson, Wilma Sue Webb (Donald) and Shelia Magdelina.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, November 10, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
