

Mr. Joseph Malone, 76, returned to his Heavenly Father Friday, July 3, 2017. He was born in Bradfordsville, Kentucky on June 26, 1941 to Joseph H. and Evelyn Malone. Mr. Malone was a truck driver for Powers Moving and Storage and Product Distribution and an Army veteran.
Mr. Malone was a U of L fan. He loved woodworking and made lots of things. He also was an outdoors man and a real family man, he loved fishing, and always took his children with him. Mr. Malone loved his faithful dog Bella, and she loved him. Of all the things he loved; Mr. Malone loved his wife the most:
"My Darling, I love you forever and a day"
Mr. Malone will be greatly missed.
Among those who preceded him in death include his father, Joseph Malone; brothers, Dwayne and Eugene Malone; sister, Sandra Cruz; and his sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Larry Duncan, and their two daughters (his nieces).
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 54 years, Anita "Joyce" Malone; daughters, Tina Eldridge (Ernie), Dianna Malone; grandchildren, Billy Eldridge, Christopher Eldridge; great grandchild, Aubrey Eldridge; mother, Evelyn Malone; sister, Brenda Ravenscroft; a ½ sister, Eileen Barret; his loyal friend, his dog, Bella; several nieces and nephews, and host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on July 8, 2017, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Friday July 7, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
